EHTP focuses its educational offer in the areas of cooking, catering, pastry and drinks, developing superior professionals.

The School of Hospitality and Tourism of Portalegre was born in 2008 within the location of the old Robinson Factory. A large, modern building was erected, designed by architect Eduardo Souto de Moura, and it has a great view over the city. The school’s training offer covers dual certification courses, on-the-job courses and technological specialization courses. In addition to initial training, the School of Hospitality and Tourism of Portalegre offers training for professionals in the sector. All courses have a very strong practical component, cultivated through the existing restaurant, which is open to the public. With this, as well as through the organization and preparation of various types of events, students have the opportunity to prepare themselves for real work environments, strengthening their professional connection to the world of tourism and hospitality.
